On Wednesday, the Students’ Union hosted the Golden Guilds, an award ceremony for the Societies at Essex. The LGBT and Friends Society was recognised as a Gold Standard Society (the highest standard possible). Not only that, but we were named Society of the Year and have an amazing trophy. So, thank you very much for getting involved and I hope that we can build on this in the year to come. |
